Today is September 5, 2016 and it's now been over 282-weeks since My Sylvia crossed-over. The other day, while waiting about 4-hours for "Carrara" (3D Modeling software by Daz3D) to download, I was tinkering with our "Roland System-1m" synthesizer and created 4 Patches (instrument sounds). I've uploaded them here and made them available as a free download.

As of this writing, it's September 20, 2015… it has now been 232-weeks since My Sylvia crossed-over. A few days ago, Sylvia suggested we make our latest 3-books available as free downloads. At 1st, she showed me the 2 computer books I had written a few years ago. I agreed that these have never sold, because we didn't put any energy behind them to Market them properly. So, by making them available at no charge, maybe someone can benefit from all the work we did in creating those books.
Then, yesterday, while at work, Sylvia showed me (in my mind) our last book… the book I put-together from the many eMails I wrote while we were in hospice. Even though that book ALSO hasn't sold any copies, I was a bit surprised that she was now suggesting that we make it available for free.
So I gathered the Master Files, made sure they could be read by all computers (converting a few files to "PDF", which wouldn't have worked on a "PC") and uploaded them to our Blogsite.)
I'm still not sure why Sylvia has been pushing me lately with a sort of "urgency" energy but she's a very smart girl… MY girl… and I do listen to her suggestions.
So here they are…
Although the "book" files are the "Master Files" we used to get them published through "CaféPress" (when they made "books") and "Lulu", I have reduced the "resolution" of each, in order to make them small for this Blog-space and faster for you to download.
The "articles" ("non-book" files) are VERY rough in "writing-style", "understandability" and "formatting". These are the notes I quickly wrote-out and put aside for my next Macintosh book… which never happened… and now, never will.
Keep in mind that I wrote the Macintosh books several years ago… before Mac OSX, 10.5, "Leopard" was released. Although the Screenshots in those books "may" look a "little" or a "lot" different from what you see on your screen now, "most" of the ideas, troubleshooting and methods of working will still apply.
Also…
Although the "Macintosh" book were somewhat "Streamed", I used to know what they contain, because I had to re-read them for understandability and technical correctness. However, our "hospice" book started from me writing eMails each night, while Sylvia lay in a bed next to me. This book was highly "Streamed" and, because I was (and still am, somewhat) in a foggy-state of "numb", I really don't know all of what is within that particular book.
You should be able to reformat the "text" / "rtf" files to make them more readable. With the "PDF" files, you should be able to "Copy" all the text and "Paste" it into your favorite Word Processing program, in order to reformat the information. If you can't drag-out the images, you should be able to take "Screenshots" of each and "Import" them into another program.

- Always listen to your "Significant Other".

- …I don't know if it contains what "I" call "the day of the exploding plate".
- …I do know it contains the time, in hospice, when the "Chaplain" threw me OUT!

Sylvia and I are Musicians. We formed our band, "Infinity", in 1981. In November 2015, we wrote and recorded a song called: "Calling All Humans". It's not a part of any of our albums and we are releasing it as a free download.
The following link will take you to our "Infinity" website where you can listen or download that song. Here's a little information about it. (There's more about the song itself on the following page.)
The following link will take you to our "Infinity" website where you can listen or download that song. Here's a little information about it. (There's more about the song itself on the following page.)
- It took me about 1-hour to pull the lyrics in from Sylvia. (That's a very long Time.)
- It took us 41-hours to figure out the song, learn how to play the various parts and record everything.
- This song contains 166 Measures
- Most of it runs at 130bpm (beats per minute) The Bridge (the slow part) runs at 65bpm
- Although this song is a bit syncopated, and has a strong rock-beat, I would categorize it as "pop-rock".
- The downloadable song on the following page is in uncompressed AIFF, 24bit format
- The song file is 90MB (megabytes) in size
- This song is not "Normalized" — the various parts have not had their Volume increased when it's a very soft part. Normalizing can make a song sound a bit "muddy".
- This song was written by Sylvia and assembled by Paul.
SONG:
In October 2015, Sylvia had me temporarily stop working on our album so we could work on this song. It's called: "Calling All Humans" and is available as a free download.
There is information about this song, as well as why Sylvia wanted it written, on our "Infinity" band site:

- These are very rough and partial pieces to a Macintosh book I was building. These are just my notes for that book.
- Our plan was to give this information away when anyone purchase both of our Macintosh books (above).
